Well I was crusing the internet and found a the site for ARL Raceway (for which I have seen many cars with the ARL prefix in their names). I noticed they had a track for download which was titled "Repaved Tally 2006" which seemed just like my version (well, Papy's version only I updated it). I saw the logo had been updated but was essentially the one I made. They stated they didn't know who made it (since nnracing.com, where I posted it had some error and that file no longer exists). So I have since sent them an e-mail stating what happened and proposed we somehow "merge" our efforts since the latest version they downloaded into one track. I hope to accomplish this maturely and easily. I don't have a big ego. All I want is one mainstream version of my Tally_2006 track out there for the community. Since I (and apparantly at least one other person) believe the track is the supperior driving track (I don't want, nor claim to have made the most graphically accurate track), I hope to fix this and perhaps make it mainstream. I don't want to drive on the old Talladega track anymore and I want my track to be the one everyone else wants to race on too (grin). Besides since cars stick on walls anyways who needs soft walls to make you lose another 2-5 feet of track space? If I get visitors in large numbers coming to this site (via nr2k3tracks.com or nnracing.com or whatever) I am going to have to get this site in shape! Yikes! Solo efforts stink! Peace.

Well, I'm going to have a busy weekend but I'll try to get this site in tip-top shape. There is a lot to do still but essentially everything important is done: you all can sign up and upload, post to the forum, and not to mention the downloads. I will see if I can get the downloads page better organized, and the forum working good, and some admin tools as well. I'm hoping not to have to open Dreamweaver for a while!
